Jr Lions Fencing

Registration for Spring Fencing 2026 will open on February 1st!

Spring 2026:

Our Jr Lions Fencing program is back for Spring 2026 with our Intro to Fencing and Fencing with Experience course available, for kids in grades 5-8.  Registration will be open from February 1 – 28, with a late registration period available from 3/1 – 3/7 (subject to a late fee). This will be open on a first come, first serve basis, and capped at 25 kids.

Please note – we will not be running our Intro to Fencing class this Spring. It’ll likely return this Summer via our Jr Lions Fencing Summer Camp, or this Fall.

Program Overview:

FENCING WITH EXPERIENCE (201): This is a 201-level course for kids who have taken our Fencing with Experience course before.  Please send your child in sports attire and sneakers but note, we are looking into mask and uniform options for the experienced fencer course that is not included in this registration fee.  An update regarding this will be sent in August. With for our registration, kids will receive a t-shirt and 8 fencing classes. All sessions will be held from 7:30 – 8:30pm on Wednesday at North Hunterdon High School starting 9/10.

PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER FOR THIS COURSE IF YOUR CHILD HAS NOT TAKEN THE PREREQUISITS OR RECIEVED APPROVAL FROM THE COMMISSIONER.

Summer Camp – registration will open for our 2026 Summer camp in June 2026.

After the overwhelming success of our inaugural year, we are offering a Jr Lions Fencing Summer Camp again this summer! There will be 2 sessions (and you’re invited to sign up for one or both).

The camp will be at North Hunterdon High School and from Monday – Thursday from 9am – 12pm.  Each day children will work with NHHS Girls Fencing Coach, Richard Millhiser, and his staff to learn fencing basics while also improving their skills.  Children entering into 5th – 9th grade for the 26/27 school year are invited to register.  Two notes – 1) this camp is for all skill levels and 2) we have a hard cap at 20 participants per session.
