Registration for the 2025 Fall Jr Lions Fencing season closed on 8/31!
Fall 2025:
Our Jr Lions Fencing program is back for Fall 2025 with both Intro to Fencing and Fencing with Experience courses available, both for kids in grades 5-8. Registration will be open from August 1st through August 22nd, with a late registration period available from 8/23 – 8/31 (subject to a late fee). This will be open on a first come, first serve basis, and capped at 12 kids for the Intro to Fencing course, and 20 kids for this Fencing with Experience class.
Program Overview:
INTRO/BEGINNER FENCING (101/102): This is an introductory program to teach your child fencing basics while also hopefully sparking in them a love for the sport. No equipment is needed to participate. Please send your child in sports attire and sneakers. With your registration, kids will receive a t-shirt and 8 fencing classes. All sessions will be held from 6:15 – 7:15pm on Wednesday at North Hunterdon High School starting 9/10.
FENCING WITH EXPERIENCE (201): This is a 201-level course for kids who have taken our Fencing with Experience course before. Please send your child in sports attire and sneakers but note, we are looking into mask and uniform options for the experienced fencer course that is not included in this registration fee. An update regarding this will be sent in August. With for our registration, kids will receive a t-shirt and 8 fencing classes. All sessions will be held from 7:30 – 8:30pm on Wednesday at North Hunterdon High School starting 9/10.
PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER FOR THIS COURSE IF YOUR CHILD HAS NOT TAKEN THE PREREQUISITS OR RECIEVED APPROVAL FROM THE COMMISSIONER.

Summer Camp – registration will open for our 2026 Summer camp in June 2026.
After the overwhelming success of our inaugural year, we are offering a Jr Lions Fencing Summer Camp again this summer! There will be 2 sessions (and you’re invited to sign up for one or both).
The camp will be at North Hunterdon High School and from Monday – Thursday from 9am – 12pm. Each day children will work with NHHS Girls Fencing Coach, Richard Millhiser, and his staff to learn fencing basics while also improving their skills. Children entering into 5th – 9th grade for the 26/27 school year are invited to register. Two notes – 1) this camp is for all skill levels and 2) we have a hard cap at 20 participants per session.
