Introducing… Jr Lions Fencing – a new program sponsored by UTREC!
Program Overview:
The Union Township Recreation Committee is very excited about a new program we’re offering starting in Spring 2024 for 6th-8th grade children: Jr Lions Fencing.
Jr Lions Fencing is an introductory program to teach your child fencing basics while also hopefully sparking in them a love for the sport. No equipment is needed to participate. Please send your child in sports attire and sneakers. With your registration, kids will receive a t-shirt and 8 fencing classes. All sessions will be held at 7pm on Wednesdays mid-April through early June at North Hunterdon High School.
Registration for Jr Lions Fencing was open start March 5th and we reached our program capacity of 20 kids within 48 hours. Please note – we plan to offer this in the Fall as well, if the initial season is successful.

Type in “Union Township Hampton NJ, NJ” for organization and select it from the drop down, make an account if needed, and then sign up as warranted. Once logged in/account made, look for the orange “register now” button. Click it and the current seasons open for registration will appear in a new box. Select and go from there.
